Commerce Department reports that imports are up, and exports down.
Data recently released by the Commerce Department showed that the American trade deficit rose 12.2 percent in 2022, nearing the $1 trillion mark.
The goods and services deficit also rose, up $103 billion from 2021.
Even with tensions high between the U.S. and China, trade continued to grow, as energy and technology led the way. Trade with China grew to $382.9 billion even with trade restrictions.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to seek God’s guidance as she heads the department.
- For President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank Reta Jo Lewis to be led by God as she fills her role.
